I would agree with the previous two comments that this book seemed a bit "rushed". I did like the "surprise" they found & it absolutely made the story much better & added some complexity. It is interesting and thought provoking how three sisters, raised by the same father & in the same environment can be so different in their adult life. The impact the Father had on each daughter was so completely different. I also agree that her other recent book, The Wedding Dress, was much better.

I agree with you 100%. It seems like she is just phoning it in now and I can barely keep up with how fast she publishes books. I have been reading her since I was a teen and will continue to do so, but I don't like paying full price for a book that seems to be the same book regurgitated over and over.

A bit of a disappointment after The Wedding Dress. I had high hopes that Danielle Steel was back in the saddle on this one. Good characters with a ton of potential. Took her far to long to get it going though and then she rushed the ending leaving you with the feeling of she needed to meet a publishing deadline and didn't have time to fill in some of the blanks. Just not what I think of for an author with such a long career.
