Boring, boring boring, first time I could not read a Nicholas Sparks book without finishing in one or two days. Worst ever from him.

I always love Nicholas Spark, but this was not my favorite. I like the premise a lot and enjoyed the mystery of it. Too much time spent on background of Trevor and the bees. Was slow moving.

This books is an example to have patience through hard times and good tidings will come. A devastating impact happened to the main character, which brought him to really evaluate his life and whether he’s living “his life”. He begins to forgive the people around him who hurt him and begins to feel content with himself. The representation between Bees and Flowers that the author uses shows the importance of taking care of our mental health. The book also teaches us to move on with life. I recommend this book and I rate it a 9/10.

Sappy and not much of a plot

Nice read, some mystery and some sad romance. It is a slower pace read but I enjoyed it all and found myself looking forward to read in the evening to learn more on all the unanswered questions.

a definite 4* for me-great story, as expected by Nicholas Sparks. He never disappoints and keeps us hooked with his themes and characters and how he so expertly and emotionally meshes his stories together. A super read-won't disappoint!!

Give me a minute to blow my nose. Can't read a Nicholas Sparks book without needing tissues, right? This story about Trevor, Natalie, and Callie seemed at times to be too long and at other times too short. Sure, the big romance is kindled early in the book. Then things stall out and it takes a bit too long for the mystery of Callie to be solved. I do love the opportunity that Trevor's character gives to explore PTSD. Also, the deceased grandfather is a rich addition to the narrative. Even in death we can consider him a major character. There is a bit of the old 'Notebook' feel to this and also a bit of 'A Walk to Remember' which is my favorite Sparks book. I'm sure others will see bits and pieces of their favorites, too. Get your tissues ready and enjoy.

Very boring but at the end the story line picked up and the last few chapters were the best. He took a long time to get to the good part.

Certainly not one of Sparks best books. He was entirely too descriptive of mundane things. If you took out every time he ate breakfast, lunch or dinner, or what he was wearing or the weather, it would be half a book. The story itself was weak and not really believable.

Lame, lame, lame! Halfway through story and nothing has happened. Lots of information about bees and description of food prep. Listened to this tale on CD and kept falling asleep.
